Musk new move: Musk artificial intelligence company xAI is raising up to $6 billion at a valuation of $50 billion. The financing will be completed early next week, with $5 billion expected to come from Middle Eastern sovereign funds and $1 billion from other investors, some of whom may want to reinvest. The financing is likely to be used to purchase 100,000 Nvidia chips for xAI to build a data center in Memphis, Tennessee, USA. The data center is said to be the largest in the world, and in addition to being used to train xAI’s AI chatbot Grok, it also supports Tesla’s fully autonomous driving program (FSD).
